You do not need to know anything about art to begin watercolor painting.

You might be saying, “Well Andalee, I’m not very artistic.” Or “I cannot draw.”

This course requires no artistic ability. Not every painter is good at drawing, just like how some graphic designers never sketch. Drawing and painting are two different skills. Yes, we will discuss training your hand and the type of movement you use working with the paper, but you are not required to be able to draw. This course will take you through the basics of using watercolor, how to use the brush, techniques for achieve straight lights, and everything you need to know to make a floral painting of your own using the coloring book provided. AND if you're struggling with self confidence, I give you tips to help you dive right in and start learning skills that will build confidence.
